This pregnancy has been amazing. It truly is the best feeling to have a baby growing inside you. Feeling him kick and watching him move is an indescribable feeling. My family is extremely overwhelmed and lucky with all the love around us. On November 13, my friends threw an AMAZING children book themed baby shower. They know me so well as I would never have been able to plan such an event as wonderful. It was extremely crafty and delicious.

Look at this handmade owl. Everyone that attended put their finger print and their name in it. It is already hanging in Baby K’s nursery.
Some delicious Grouchy Ladybug cake pops. My friends spent days on it. Damn good…and it was their first time ever!
My friends hard at word crafting. They were making an alphabet book, the bottoms of socks with puffy paint, and baby wishes. And look at the garland on the right. Hand cut and sewn.
What a fantastic day. I will never forget it as long as I live.
And one more thing…This crazy girl made me the most incredible gift.
My very favorite children’s book of all times has been out of print for almost as long as I have been alive. She found it on Amazon and created this picture to hang in the baby’s room. My very handy sister-in-law and not so handy-ish hubby hung it up immediately. Check it out.
I cannot even express in words the gratitude I have for everyone that made this day so special. My baby boy is so loved and he still has 9 more weeks to grow. xo
